Some Facts About Me
My name is Larah, and I'm a nineteen year old college student with celiac disease trying to show others the JOY and LOVE that is found in Jesus. Some people like to call me 'Lala' or 'Lah', but my favourite nickname of all time is, wait for it... 'Orrin' which means, 'little, pale, green one'. I've lived in England pretty much my whole life, but my family and I love travelling so I've been to loads of countries. I can speak English and Afrikaans fluently, German and French pretty well and I'm currently teaching myself Spanish and Zulu! This mix makes for quite the accent and I have frequently been asked if I'm from Australia or America.

I'm not really a 'girly girl', I'd much rather be running through the fields, going on long hikes in the hills or spend the day road-tripping in a car. If you ask any of my family they'll tell you that I LOVE smoothies, being outdoors in nature and that I am always listening to music. My favourite foods are sweet potato salads, mangoes, and smoothie bowls. I've watched Heartland through at least 5 times (not even joking, aha) and I have a passion for writing and all the things to do with health and homesteading.

I'm often described as the 'mom' of the friend group and I'm super determined to do everything to a really high standard. Learning to rest and ask for help is something I'm always working on. I love lifting my Saviour's name high - having the opportunity to live for Him brings me so much joy - what an honour! I've grown up in a Christian household, and I serve on my local Church's worship team as an acoustic guitarist. Even as an introvert I still absolutely love working with and serving people intentionally in every aspect I can.

But that's enough about me, tell me something fun about you!
